For our members ticket sales for the Stallion Inspection and Friesian Proms start on Monday morning 9.00am. Ticket sales for non-members start one week later. New this year is that grandstand seating for the Stallion Inspection on Saturday will also be subject to reservation. This means that the desired seats can be reserved when purchasing the tickets.
Reservation of grandstand seating for Friesian Proms was already introduced at an earlier stage. Up till this year the Saturday of the Stallion Inspection offered free choice of seating. The first people to arrive could claim the best seats. The main reason for changing this system is that free seating causes unwanted situations such as keeping large numbers of seats ‘occupied’ by leaving coats on the chairs. Complaints with regard to this practice were vented by members during the regional meetings. Members who make use of the early-booking option now have the opportunity to secure good seats. Seating by reservation leads to a differentiation in ticket prices. The best seats are more expensive than the less popular seats.
With this present system of ticket sales we primarily aim to accommodate the KFPS members. The early-booking option is not the only perk for members, they also receive a 25% discount on their tickets. Considering that this year´s Stallion Inspection had already sold out one week before the start of the event, we strongly urge our members to book tickets at an early stage to avoid disappointment.
