Fonger 478 and Jouwe 485 benefit from new breeding values

The annual genetic evaluations have been finalised this week. All judging results (linear scoring) as well as all results from ABFP and IBOP of 2018 have been included. The results for the approved stallions show a stable pattern. Two stallions stand out in a positive way. Both Fonger 478 and Jouwe 485 saw their breeding values for conformation being increased with no less than 4 points. Fonger 478 owes this to his first crop of three year old mares, who left a positive impression during the inspections this year. For Jouwe 485, the increase is entirely due to the excellent results of his first sons during the first viewing.

Breeding values for all (active) approved KFPS-stallions can be downloaded here.

New proofs for all individual stallions and mares can be consulted in ‘My KFPS’. Lists for the highest ranking mares as well as the breeding values for all young stallions who have been selected for the second viewing at the Hengstenkeuring, will be published at the KFPS-site, the upcoming weeks.
